What problems do you have helping your kid with homework?
I want to help parents help their children learn. To do this well I want to know what problems parents and students have about homework – the more specific the better.

Some parents work during the day and when they come home they have to cook, clean, bathe the children and they simply don’ to time to sit with their child to do homework.
If you leave work at 5:15, get home by 6 or so, cook dinner and eat it by 7:30, you still have to get the children ready for tomorrow. Even with two parents this is quite difficult.
It’s worse for single parents. They do it all with no help.
Another reason is that the parents may not understand the subject matter well enough. A parent may not have studied trigonometry for years and they can’t adequately help their children.
